Product Overview
The single-component polyurethane waterproof coating is a UV resistance, reactive wet-cured filming polymer waterproof coating. It is primarily formulated using aliphatic isocyanates and polyether polyols, combined with various agents and fillers through addition polymerization reactions. In use, it is coated on the waterproof base layer and performs chemical reactions with moisture in the air through the -NCO groups in the polyurethane prepolymer, forming a tough, flexible, seamless rubber-like waterproof membrane on the surface.

Application Process
Base layer treatment → Detail Treatment → Large Area Coating Application → Edge Treatment → Inspection and Acceptance
- Base layer treatment: The waterproof substrate should be smooth, solid, and free of sharp protrusions. Corners and junctions should be rounded.
- Detail Treatment: Apply a layer of polyurethane waterproof coating (thickness not less than 1 mm) to corners, junctions, pipe penetrations, expansion joints, and construction joints, and reinforce with non-woven fabric.
- Large Area Coating Application: Apply the coating using manual scraping. The coating should be continuous and is usually applied in multiple layers (2-3 layers) with each subsequent layer applied after achieving surface dry (typically 18 hours). Each layer should be applied perpendicular to the previous layer.
- Edge Treatment: Apply multiple coats to edge areas.
- Inspection and Acceptance: For flat projects or indoor bathrooms, conduct a water tightness test for 24 hours and check for leaks. Upon successful inspection, apply a protective layer (isolation layer construction).
Precautions
- *No work is allowed to be carried out in snowy and rainy days or days with wind being grade 5 or higher.
- *The ambient temperature of the work shall not be lower than 5°C, not be higher than 35°C.
- *After application is completed, materials protection should be performed.
- *Construction site: No smoking. No fire. Pay attention to the ventilation. To protect the waterproof performance of PU film.
- *Cannot add diluent.
Storage and Transportation
- *The product is packaged in sealed iron barrels with covers and sealing caps.
- *Different types and specifications of products should be stored separately.
- *Store in a dry and well-ventilated indoor area.
- *Protect from direct sunlight, rain, and collisions, and ensure proper ventilation. Storage temperature: 5°C to 40°C.
- *Under normal storage and transportation conditions, the shelf life is at least 12 months from the production date. Exceeding the shelf life requires retesting for quality. High temperatures may shorten shelf life.
