Liquid Water Based Bituminous Primer –Primer coating

Primer coating is a bituminous liquid that seals porous surfaces ,such as concrete , to improve the adhesion of bituminous materials to be applied to the substrate, it is recommended to use Primer coating in all applications of Torch on membrane AND self adhesive membranes .

Primer coating should be thoroughly stirred before use of applied to the substrate by means of brush , roller or spray.

                    300g/m2 Brush/Roller

                    200g/m2 sprayed 

Concrete should cured and at least 8 days old,After drying, any localized discoloration on the surface should be retreated and allowed to cure.

Apply Primer coating only an area that can be covered within the same day .Do not leave the primer exposed for more than 24 hours , If this could

 be the case , apply a further coat and allow to cure as above .

 Tools may be cleaned with white spirit or paraffin.

  Drying Time:

  2 hours +_ 1 hour depends on local weather conditions at the time of application .
